Pretty much everyone has seen Kylie Jenner‘s viral “rise and shine” video that’s making its way around the internet. For those who missed it, the reality star was giving fans a tour of her office for a new YouTube video when she went to wake up her daughter, Stormi Webster. While trying to wake the 20-month-old up, she sang the words “rise and shine,” and it quickly took the internet by storm. Now, the makeup mogul has decided to monetize on the meme!
The 22-year-old has just filed a trademark request for the phrases “rise and shine” and “riiise and shiiinnee.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star already released merchandise that features the iconic phrase — black and white sweatshirts (which you can buy here!) — so it’s clear that she never fails to seize a marketing opportunity.
Kylie officially set a TikTok record with the meme, receiving over a billion views under the hashtag #RiseandShine in a matter of days. A ton of celebrities have even gotten in on the viral moment. Take Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson, for example. The couple posted a hilarious video of themselves singing “rise and shine,” and fans were living for it.
Joe Jonas belted the infamous line out during a Jonas Brothers concert, and boy was it epic.

Ariana Grande asked the beauty guru if she could sample the tune in an upcoming song!

Someone even went ahead and put a beat behind the audio of Kylie singing the line and turned it into a song themselves. The brunette beauty seemed to like it because she shared a video of her daughter dancing to the tune.
But Stormi wasn’t much of a fan. In the clip, she told her mom that she’d rather hear her dad, Travis Scott‘s music instead. LOL.
