Just days after Jaclyn Hill came under fire for her new lipstick line, Kylie Jenner accidentally inserted herself right in the midst of the drama. Yep, that’s right. The reality star posted a clip of herself gushing over the YouTuber’s new products to her Instagram Stories on June 13, 2019 — seemingly unaware of the major controversy around them. But as soon as she realized, the makeup mogul swiftly deleted her post.

“I can’t wait to try these,” the 21-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star could be heard saying in the now-deleted video, as she opened a box of the Jaclyn’s new lipsticks.

As fans know, the social media star is facing a ton of criticism after fans claimed they found legit hairs, lumps and mold in their new lipsticks. Yuck. One YouTuber, Raw Beauty Kristi, even examined the product under a microscope — and the results were not pretty.

But in a video uploaded on June 12, 2019, the 28-year-old insisted that her lipsticks were safe to use.

“The first thing that I want to address before anything else is the accusations that my lipsticks are expired, moldy or hazardous in any way, shape or form. I’m going to put up documents throughout this entire video so you guys can see the actual proof,” she said. “My lipsticks are not moldy. They are not hazardous. They are not contaminated. They are not unsafe for you in any way, shape or form. Every single ingredient in my lipstick is new, and it is FDA approved.”

As for the lumps, the beauty guru explained that they were actually oxygen bubbles. But what about the hairs, you ask? Well, those apparently came from the cotton gloves that the factory workers wore while making the product. Phew.

Jaclyn has also vowed to give anyone who runs into these issues a full refund and a fresh lipstick.
