On Monday, December 2, Liam Payne and girlfriend Maya Henry dodged a super awkward run-in with his former flame Naomi Campbell at the 2019 British Fashion Awards.
At the star-studded event, Liam looked better-than-ever in a navy blue suit while his model counterpart sported a mint green and purple mermaid gown. The couple cozied up together for adorable red carpet photos while his rumored ex stole the show with her grand entrance. While inside the awards show, the pair watched as the supermodel received the event’s Fashion Icon Award for her work in the fashion industry.
As fans know, the One Direction singer and the 49-year-old initiated their fling in January 2019 when fans caught them out on a secret date in London and exchanging flirty comments on Instagram. After three months together, the two parted ways back in April and according to sources, decided to stay friends.
The 26-year-old’s appearance at the British Fashion awards came just after he got into a nasty brawl outside of a nightclub this past weekend. The “Strip That Down” singer took to his Instagram Stories and claimed three bouncers at the Silver Fox in San Antonio, TX jumped him for no reason.
“@thesilverfoxsatx three of your bouncers just [jumped] me for no reason whilst I was grabbing my ID. I took pics of the whole thing, look forward to seeing you in court a**holes,” he wrote in the now-deleted post.
According to reports, the fight broke out after Liam and his 19-year-old girlfriend were kicked out of the bar because Maya was underage. Witnesses claimed that the singer was pushed to the ground after he tried to force his way back into the establishment. In a clip obtained by The Sun, Liam could be seen yelling at the bouncers, “Don’t f**king push me again or I will lay your a** out,” as the model attempted to hold him back.
The Silver Fox hasn’t immediately returned J-14’s requests for comment.
