Although it seems like everyone is obsessed with Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson‘s adorable relationship, there’s one person who’s made it clear that she’s not a fan of the new couple. And that’s Lindsay Lohan! The Mean Girls star just completely shaded the pair in a nasty Instagram post, and fans are pretty shook over it.
For those who forgot, before he was linked to the 26-year-old “Wrecking Ball” songstress, Cody actually dated Lindsay’s little sister, Aliana Lohan, last year. And it appears that Lindsay is not happy with his new choice of partner following their split. In a now-deleted Instagram post, the actress shared an old snap of Cody and Ali, which she seemingly captioned, “When you [realize] you failed. And you settle for less @codysimpson family is everything you won the masked singer but you lost on your future.”
Um, ouch! Cody recently made an appearance on the show Masked Singer, where Lindsay is a judge. And the red head even took a dig at him on live television! Right before he was crowned the winner, Lindsay claimed that she had furnished the 22-year-old Australian pop star’s home in Los Angeles, and asked him when he was going to return her things to her.
Cody later explained to Nova 96.9, “I dated her sister for a little while and I lived in this little beach shack in Venice in California. And I didn’t have a bed, just a mattress on the floor, by choice. I just didn’t really care, you know. They came into the house and kept like, ordering me stuff and it would show up to the house. [Lindsay] bought me a bed frame.”
As fans know, Miley and Cody were first spotted smooching on October 3, and since then, they’ve been serious couple goals. They’re constantly showing off their love on social media, sharing the cutest photos together and packing on the PDA.
