Lucy Hale has some new ink! The 29-year-old Pretty Little Liars alum took to Instagram to share a photo of her new tattoo. “Love her but leave her wild,” the arm tattoo reads. So what is the meaning behind Lucy Hale’s tattoo? The phrase is actually from Atticus Poetry, and clearly it means a lot to her. The tattoo was done by celebrity tattoo artist Daniel Winter (best known on Instagram as @winterstone), who has also designed ink for stars like Ronni Hawk and Sophie Turner.

“LOVE HER BUT LEAVE HER WILD,” Lucy wrote alonside the photo of her design, tagging both the tattoo artist and the poet. “thank you @winterstone for branding @annebreiter & me with our favorite quote.”

And turns out, she didn’t get it alone! Her best friend Annie Breiter got a matching one. Annie also took to social media to share her new design, which she got tattooed along her outter forearm, near her wrist. “Matching bestie tats w/ @lucyhale. Thanks @winterstone for killing it. ‘LOVE HER BUT LEAVE HER WILD’ – @atticuspoetry,” the television producer wrote alongside the photo she shared of her latest piece of body art.

Lucy is no stranger to tattoos. It is reported that Lucy has over ten designs on her body – from an elephant design on her inner forearm to the finger tattoo she got to match her PLL co-stars.

And tbh, something tells us this isn’t the last tattoo for Lucy – you know, seeing as her collection is quickly growing! What’s next? We suppose only time will tell.
