It looks like love might in the air again for Maddie Ziegler. A new report has surfaced with a source confirming to People that she has a new leading man in her life and she’s now dating Kailand Morris. Already shipping it, if we’re being honest here!
So here’s the situation: the 16-year-old starlet apparently met Kailand while their younger siblings Mackenzie Ziegler and Mandla Morris were both competing on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors. The show is currently airing new episodes every Sunday, but we know was actually filmed during the summer. Kailand is a 17-year-old model so if you take a look at his IG, you’ll be treated to plenty of swoon-worthy pics of the cutie. And he happens to be the son of musical legend, Stevie Wonder, so like fam goals right there. While Maddie and Kailand haven’t commented on the dating rumors just yet, we do know they are hanging out together, as they recently went to Disneyland with some friends and both shared pics from the fun day out on their Instagram accounts.
Previously, Maddie dated Jack Kelly, but they split earlier this year and she has since deleted almost all the photos she had with her former bae from her Instagram. Plus, more evidence that Maddie and Kailand might just be a thing comes courtesy of Milo Manheim. See, Maddie recently appeared on an episode of Dancing With the Stars and Milo’s pro partner, Witney Carson, was totally trying to set the two up. The 17-year-old Zombies actor made it very clear that nothing was going to happen between him and Maddie.
“Look. I love Maddie, she’s a great girl, but it’s not going to happen. It’s just not going to happen. There’s so many reasons. She is super cool and I really do like her, and I hope to know her for a long time. It’s funny because she would have the exact same response as I’m having right now,” he said to ET. So was this Milo’s way of kind of confirming that Maddie is taken, which is why he wouldn’t be trying to date her? WE HAVE QUESTION.
But while appearing on Access Live recently, the dancer did admit that like many other girls her age, she is dating and thinking about boys a lot. But there’s still one guy who will always have her heart, and that’s her longtime celebrity crush: Zac Efron.
“I’m a teenager so of course, I’m like boy crazy at times! But Zac Efron was my number one love since I was five-years-old. Still to this day, I’ve never met him but I couldn’t meet him I don’t think. I would faint if I met Zac Efron,” Maddie said.
We feel you on that one, girl! But as for if Kailand has truly stolen her heart, well we’ll just have to wait and see what happens next.
