If you thought Liam Payne and Naomi Campbell were a random pairing, just wait until you hear who Meghan Trainor wants to set Harry Styles up with. Drum roll please… it’s Chloë Grace Moretz! Um, that’s right, please take a moment to try to imagine how iconic it would be if the actress and the “Sign Of The Times” crooner dated. Wow, we’re shipping it already.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the “All About That Bass” songstress said, “I’d love to set-up Harry with Chloë. I think they’d make a great couple, so maybe if I can play Cupid for them, they’d be a perfect match.”
As fans know, Meghan and Chloë are actually pretty close friends. They first met in 2015, at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball, and since then they’ve been total BFF goals — hanging out all the time, wearing matching clothes and even gushing over each other in interviews.
And if the singer did play cupid for Chloë and the One Direction member, she’d just be returning the favor — since Chloë actually introduced Meghan and her husband, Daryl Sabara!
“Chloë Grace Moretz told me she had a really, really nice friend,” Meghan explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “I was like, ‘That’s crazy! I’m looking for a really, really nice guy.’ And she’s like, ‘You guys have to meet.’ And we did. He’s great!”
Awww! As for Meghan and Harry, you may not know this but they actually wrote a song together back in 2014! Michael Bublé ended up singing the track, “Someday Maybe,” with Meghan.
“It’s a beautiful song [me and Harry] wrote together on my ukulele,” Meghan told The Sun. “We even recorded a rough demo together with our vocals together. It’s a cute acoustic love thing. He’s an incredible writer, too. I was worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy. So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics. I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.’”
Harry’s been linked to Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara recently, while Chloe was spotted kissing Kate Harrison back in December. Honestly, we are so here for this couple.
