We were all pretty worried about Miley Cyrus after news hit the web that she had been attacked by a fan while promoting her new EP, She Is Coming, in Barcelona, Spain on Sunday, June 2. ICYMI, in a scary video captured by a fan, you can see an unidentified man grab and try to kiss her while she was leaving her hotel with her husband, Liam Hemsworth. Now, the former Hannah Montana star has spoken out about the incident.

“She can be wearing what she wants. She can be a virgin. She can be sleeping with 5 different people. She can be with her husband. She can be with her girlfriend. She can be naked. She CAN’T be grabbed without her consent,” she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, June 4, adding the hashtag #DontF–kWithMyFreedom, which is a line from her new song, “Mother’s Daughter.”

As fans know, in the horrifying clip, you can see the man grab Miley’s hair, wrap his arm around her neck and pull her in for a kiss. Thankfully, security quickly got involved and came between them before things could escalate further. Wow, we’re so glad she’s OK.

Naturally, fans were quick to flood the “Wrecking Ball” songstress with support.

“Amen! You deserve the respect you give and it’s RUDE to not understand your personal space,” one fan replied, while another quipped, “This makes me so mad that some fan did that. What happened to RESPECT and treating people like their humans?”
