Remember how shook we all were when we found out Nash Grier proposed to his girlfriend, Taylor Giavasis? Well, the couple just announced that they’re expecting their first child together, so 2019 is really shaping up to be a big year for the pair.
That’s right, you guys! The social media star made the adorable announcement on Friday, April 19, posting a photo of him holding his fiancée’s baby bump in a field of flowers. He captioned the pic, “1 + 1 = 3,” and we’re seriously still melting over it.
But wait, there’s more. The 21-year-old also took to Twitter, shocked that fans didn’t notice Taylor was pregnant when he first proposed — especially since his hands have been all over her growing tummy for the past couple months.

Taylor also took to Twitter to announce the exciting news herself. She shared a photo of her growing baby bump, which she captioned, “My angel.” Aww!
She then shared a different photo on Instagram and opened up about all the overwhelming feelings and emotions that come along with being an expectant mother.
“As long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be a mommy,” Taylor wrote. “I’ve always been enthralled with pregnancy and the joy/strength that come with motherhood. I am honored to be able to experience such a gift. The love and support Nash and I have received has made us feel like the luckiest people on earth. We look forward to the future and sharing the rest of our journey.”
Clearly, the happy couple is super stoked about this next chapter in their lives, and this time it’s REAL! Back in January, Taylor was rumored to be pregnant, and while it’s very possible she was preggers back then and simply wasn’t ready to announce it, the rumors were brushed off as nothing but a “food baby.” Likely story.
Yup! The internet totally freaked when Taylor’s friend, Kelsey Calemine, posted a video of Taylor’s stomach and tagged Nash. She also wrote “yay” with a heart, so fans instantly assumed it meant they had a baby on the way. Later, Kelsey took to her Instagram Stories again to confirm she wasn’t expecting, writing, “guys taylor isn’t pregnant that was a FOOD BABY.”
Then, Nash hopped on Twitter confirming that they’ve just been eating good over Christmastime.
“Thanks for the wishes bur we’re not pregnant,” he wrote. “we’ve just been eating good @taylorgiavasis.”

Looking back, this all could’ve been a cover for the fact that she was pregnant. However, shortly after that the couple got engaged, so it’s safe to say we were all a bit too distracted to notice. We mean, have you seen the ring? It’s HUGE!
As exciting as this news is, there’s still a ton we don’t know. For example, when’s the wedding? When’s the due date? Have they picked out a baby name? Like you, we’re desperate for answers, but all we know so far is that this is bound to be an exciting year for these two, and we seriously can’t wait to see more of their journey.
