Some fans have accused NikkieTutorial of “copying” Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson‘s Conspiracy makeup collection with her latest palette, Temple Tutorials. Yep, the YouTuber recently teamed up with the company Beauty Bay to launch a brand new product, but when people started to notice a resemblance between her new shades and the ones in the Conspiracy palette, they started to slam her online.

“Is it me or are a lot of colors similar to the Conspiracy palette?” one person commented under her announcement for the new line.

“The pink, purple, yellow, orange, red, light blue, ivy white and the neutrals. It’s very similar,” another fan wrote.

But not to worry, people, because there’s definitely no hard feelings between Nikkie and Jeffree! Yep, he actually responded to her announcement and congratulated her on the exciting news!

“Yes congratulations baby!” he tweeted, alongside some fire emojis.

The new product comes with 20 different shades and two mirrors (one of them is magnified!) for $30. It will be available starting on August 31, 2020, at 10 A.M. PST on Beauty Bay’s website.

As fans know, back in 2018 the beauty vlogger revealed that her and Jeffree were no longer friends after he seemingly shaded her in multiple videos on his YouTube channel. But when the social media star came out as transgender in January 2020, they put their longtime feud to rest.

“YOU are such an inspiration and so f**king brave! Love you and I’m so proud to call you a friend,” the beauty guru tweeted after she came out in a powerful YouTube video, proving there was no more drama between them.

And then, when Jeffree came under fire for calling his new makeup palette Cremated in May 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic, Nikkie spoke out about it online. Although she understood why some people were upset about it, she explained that he had no bad intentions.

“I have to agree with the people out there that say the timing is a little… eh,” she said during a YouTube video. “I’m not defending anyone … After I taped my appearance on [The Ellen DeGeneres Show] in January, I actually visited Jeffree the day after or somewhere near it. And Jeffree actually showed me this palette, and he told me that it was geared for April, he had been working on it for so long. And that tells you that creating makeup isn’t done in two weeks, it isn’t done in two months.”

She continued, “But I feel like the thing is though, it wouldn’t have mattered if he came out with this right now or in a couple of months. We’re going to have to deal with the virus for the next couple of years probably, so it wouldn’t have mattered when this would have come out because the theme is ‘Creamated.’ So, it would have hurt people either way.”
