Is NikkieTutorials OK?! The YouTuber (whose real name is Nikkie de Jager), took to Twitter on Saturday, August 8, to share the news that she and her fiancé, Dylan Drossaers, were robbed at gunpoint in their Netherlands home.

“Earlier today, one of my biggest nightmares became a reality when we got robbed under gunpoint in our own home,” she wrote. “Dylan and myself got attacked but physically we’re OK. Mentally it’s a whole other story. I’m writing this for now to let you know that we are ‘OK’ and safe. Thank you for understanding as I take the next couple of days to myself.”

The East-Brabant police also issued a statement on Twitter about the robbery. According to E! News‘ translation of their message, there were at least three suspects who fled the scene in a beige car toward the A50 motorway. Authorities also revealed that one person “suffered injuries,” however, they didn’t specify who.

Naturally, many fans, celebrities and fellow vloggers send the beauty guru their well wishes.

“Oh my God that is so f**king horrible and terrifying! Love you and we are all here for you,” Jeffree Star wrote in a tweet to Nikkie.

As fans know, she’s not the only star to experience a scary robbery. Back in February 2020, Harry Styles got robbed at knifepoint while walking home in London, England.

“I was walking home from a friends house, I was about five minutes from home. I’m walking up and I kind of see this group of guys and they all got their hoods up, and their face is covered and stuff. And I think, ‘Oh thats a bit weird,’” the singer recalled. “I hear shuffling of feet and they catch up to me. So I cross the street and they cross the street. And I’m like, ‘Oh f**ks sake.’ Then I cross the street again and they cross the street again and I think I’m about to get robbed. So the guys are like, ‘Hey can I talk to you for a minute?’ And there is no one around. So I’m like, ‘Sure.’ … Then [one of the guys] goes, ‘What have you got on you?’ And they all kind of gathered around me.”

But when the 26-year-old One Direction member saw some cars coming, he saw it as an opportunity to get away safely.

“I just sprinted and ran. I ran into the road and I tried to stop a car,” he said. “Obviously a mad men in the middle of the road try to get in your car, they’re not going to let me in. So they don’t let me in. I tried to get in another car, they don’t let me in. But now I’m slightly away from them because I’m in the street. And I just turned and ran towards the village where I live. I just kind of sprinted … I guess because they had some cash and stuff they ended up just turning around.”
