We all practically lost it after Lana Condor and Noah Centineo announced that a sequel to our favorite Netflix rom-com was finally in the works. That’s right, they’re officially making a All The Boys I’ve Loved Before 2! But naturally, there are a lot of questions about the much-anticipated sequel. Like, what will it be about? Who will play John Ambrose? And most importantly, what will happen to our favorite on-screen couple after John comes to town? Well, the cast has some ideas of their own for the second movie, and get this — Noah just revealed he wants TATBILB 2 to take after Twilight!

As Peter Kavinsky would say, “Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah.” Say whaaaat? Don’t worry guys, we’re not talking about vampires and werewolves taking over the town. LOL. Noah was actually referring to the way Edward and Jacob so famously fought over Bella in the classic series. The 22-year-old revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he wants the same for his character. “I want people to get behind John, I want people to get behind Josh, I want people to get behind all the characters,” he told the outlet. “I would like to see fans bicker about it and have it be like the whole Edward Cullen-Jacob thing [from Twilight]. I love that.”

SCREAMING. How epic would that be? We all love a good ship war, although, it may be hard for us to get behind any one else dating Lara Jean Covey since her relationship with Peter is so freaking cute. But Noah explained that he wants his character to change in the sequel. “I think Peter could be more vulnerable and jealous,” he continued. “He’s not a super evolved person, so there’s always more to explore and develop.”

As for Lana, she explained that she wants to see Lara Jean become more confident. “It’s in her nature to not be confrontational, so when people are mean to her or things happen to her that aren’t necessarily great, I think sometimes she’s just like ‘Okay well I guess that’s life,’” the actress explained. “What would be exciting for me is for her to stand up for herself a little bit more.”

Well, we really didn’t think we could get any more excited over the TATBILB sequel but after hearing all this we definitely are.
