By now, you’ve most likely watched the gem that is the Netflix rom-com, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Beforeand you’ve probably watched it more than once. There’s nothing wrong with that because, let’s be real here, the film stole everyone’s hearts. And while there hasn’t been an official word yet as to if and when a sequel movie is going to happen, there’s a theory floating around that if it does, none other than Cole Sprouse will be starring in it. IT’S TOO MUCH TO HANDLE.

So here’s what went down: A fan Facebook page made some very convincing movie posters that suggest Cole would be starring in the second film.

Naturally, fans were left SHOOK to the core seeing this. If you read all of the books in author Jenny Han’s series that the movie is based on, then you know the character of John Ambrose plays a crucial role in the second book, P.S. I Still Love You and we know he shows up on Lara Jean’s doorstep at the very end of the first movie, during the end credits scene. So could Cole be playing John? Once these images made their rounds on the internet, fans started to freak out.

Now, there’s a very good chance that sadly, Cole won’t be in the movie if it happens. See, the 26-year-old actor is pretty busy at the moment filming the third season of Riverdale and he has his first film in nearly 20 years, Five Feet Apart, coming out in March. So Cole has a lot going on and we already have our John Ambrose. Actor Jordan Burtchett played him in the first movie and we would have a feeling he would play the character again in this sequel we’re all waiting for. For now, there has been zero confirmation Cole will appear in the movie so we’re going to put this rumor to rest. But hey, if he wants to hang out with Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky, we would be all for it too.
