Harvey Kinkle and Sabrina Spellman are cute and all, but in The Chilling Adventure’s Of Sabrina, the real dynamic duo may actually be Harvey and Nicholas Scratch — the male witch fighting for Sabrina’s affections. Ross Lynch, who plays Harvey in the epic new show, sat down with TheWrap where he revealed that he totally ships his character with Gavin Leatherwood‘s character, Nick.
“You know what’s so funny? Just today I just texted Gavin, who plays Nick, and was like, ‘Dude they’re shipping us already.’ It’s so funny,” he told the magazine.
In the season finale of the show, Harvey and Nick had some intense scenes together when they had to work together to stay alive. And their off-screen relationship is just as cute as their on-camera one.
“I wanna say that I love Gavin Leatherwood as a human being,” he continued about the actor. “We’ve just got on so great, the whole cast, but I feel like we have a really good relationship.”
The 22-year-old also revealed that their epic scenes together were his absolute favorites to film.
“That was one of the most fun days I’ve had on set,” he explained. “‘Cause we shot all those scenes in one day. So basically just me and Gavin hanging out all day. It was so much fun.”
Ross and Gavin, 24, may be total bromance goals, but Ross couldn’t help but admit that he found his on-screen romance with Kiernan Shipka, who plays Sabrina, “pretty cute” too.
“I feel like I do a pretty good job of detaching myself from characters that I play. And even me, when I watched it for the first time I thought it was pretty adorable,” he said.
As J-14 readers know, the season ended with the two breaking our hearts when Sabrina decided Harvey should stay away from her and her magic world to keep him safe. But can we expect a #Habrina reunion next season? Ross wouldn’t reveal, but he did did give us some insight on what we can expect in Season two.
“You’ll see a lot more of the academy, and just how Sabrina now navigates the path that she’s on after how Season one ends,” he dished.
We cannot wait to see more of Sabrina, Harvey and Nick on screen again.
