Get ready, you guys, because Selena Gomez has a brand new movie up her sleeves, and we’ve got all the exciting details!

OK, so according to Variety, the flick is called The Broken Hearts Gallery, and it will hit theaters on July 10, 2020. That’s right, the film is set to be one of the first big theatrical release after all movie theaters were shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic.

So who will the “Lose You To Love Me” songstress play? Well, it turns out, she’s actually not acting in the movie at all! But get this — she’s executive producing it. Natalie Krinsky, who wrote some of the Gossip Girl episodes, directed it, and just wait until you see the star-studded cast. Geraldine Viswanathan, Dacre Montgomery (who fans may recognize from Stranger Things), Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo, Suki Waterhouse, Arturo Castro, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill and Bernadette Peters are set to star in the flick, and we can’t wait!

“Hearing from more female writers and directors is very much needed. Natalie is a wonderful talent and I am happy to be a part of her debut film,” Selena said in a statement. “I understand people’s concerns regarding returning to activities we all loved prior to COVID-19. I hope everyone will listen to scientists’ recommendations and consider others’ health and safety while enjoying the movie theater experience.”

Sony’s Motion Picture Group president Josh Greenstein added, “Now more than ever, ‘The Broken Hearts Gallery’ will resonate with audiences ready for a feel-good moviegoing experience this summer. We have faith in a theatrical rebound, and we look forward to being there right out of the gate with our exhibition partners’ anticipated reemergence, as — and when — state-by-state safety guidelines are met.”

The plot has been kept under wraps, but with a cast, director and producer that iconic, we know it’s going to be an amazing movie!
