We could not be more ecstatic for Shawn Johnson East. That’s because the YouTuber and gymnast just revealed that she and her husband, Andrew East, are expecting their first baby together! OMG.

The 27-year-old shared the exciting news via her Instagram on Thursday, April 4.

“We cannot WAIT to welcome you to the world and shower you with love,” she wrote alongside a sweet snap of the couple cradling her baby bump. “@AndrewDEast WE DID IT!”

Andrew also shared an adorable video of the couple holding up a tiny pair of baby shoes, and ugh, our hearts are bursting.

Aww, you can literally feel their happiness radiating off of them! They even made an Instagram account for the baby, so prepare to hit that follow button. The username is @TheEastBaby — how cute is that?

“Coming 2019,” they captioned a shot of a napkin with “Baby East” written on it.

The couple, who married back in 2016, also uploaded a YouTube video about the news — where they talked about everything from how they found out to their initial reactions.

“We’re pregnant!” the former olympic athlete gushed in the sweet video as her beau held up the positive pregnancy test.

It turns out, they first found out that Shawn was expecting on February 17, 2019. And the way Shawn told Andrew was absolutely adorable.

“She says, ‘Andrew sit down, I gotta show you something,'” he explained. “I was like, ‘Are you about to prank me? Or shove pizza sauce in my face?'”

But after he found out it wasn’t a prank, Andrew was super happy. As fans know, the news is especially exciting for the pair because the blonde beauty unfortunately revealed back in 2017 that she had suffered a miscarriage.

“The day I was told we were miscarrying, I felt guilty. I felt sad and I remember telling Andrew, ‘I’m sorry I lost your baby,’” Shawn revealed in a vlog at the time. “I felt like it was something that I did. I didn’t take care of the baby well enough, or I was stressed out too much, or I didn’t take the right prenatal vitamins. All these different guilts and thoughts and negative feelings of ‘I failed my baby.’ I felt like I was [uninhabitable], like, ‘No baby’s gonna live inside this belly.’”

After going through something so traumatic, we are especially excited for the parents-to-be!
