While most people were excited for 2019 to start because it offered a fresh start, diehard fans of the musical Rent were excited for another reason, which is that the show is coming to their TV screens later this month!
ICYMI, Rent: Live is scheduled to air on Fox on Jan. 27, and although it’s just a few weeks away, it can’t come soon enough. The best part? The television remake will star some very familiar faces, including Vanessa Hudgens, Jordan Fisher, and even “2 On” singer Tinashe. As if that wasn’t enough, Keala Settle from The Greatest Showman will perform the iconic song “Seasons of Love.”
Clearly, there’s so much to be excited for when it comes to Rent: Live, and just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean the cast hasn’t begun celebrating.
