Vanessa Hudgens went ahead and added a new movie to the top of our “must-watch this all holiday season long” list with The Princess Switch. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, then stop what you’re doing right now and go log into someone’s Netflix account and get watching because it’s the perfect blend of all you ever need in a holiday movie. So will there be a sequel?

Well, according to V herself, she is totally down for it, although she’s not exactly sure how that would be possible unless she takes on a third role in the movie!

“I honestly don’t even know where it would go, because we already got our happy endings. We’d have to create more conflict, or maybe there would a third twin. Spruce things up a little bit,” Vanessa said to Glamour. “I have no idea. I’m going to leave that one up to the writers, but I know that I had so much fun doing it. The characters are so sweet that I would definitely be on board.”

ANOTHER CHARACTER FOR HER TO PLAY THOUGH. Girl is willing to give herself more work and try out another accent to give us another movie. Here for it, Vanessa. In case you didn’t know, in the movie, the 29-year-old plays two girls who happen to look exactly alike and they switch places. One happens to be a princess and the other is a baker and of course, they both end up falling in love with guys who are just dreamy AF. And there’s some legit Christmas magic that goes on too, so it’s just a gem of a movie all around. In case you’re thinking, hmm this is giving major The Parent Trap vibes, well that’s because it’s supposed to! Vanessa explained that growing up, the movie — starring Lindsay Lohan playing long lost twins who find each other at summer camp and switch places in hopes of getting their parents back together — was a major source of inspo.

“Yeah, it was one of my favorites! Me and my sister [Stella] would act out the scenes from the movie and watch it over and over and over again, as kids do. It was just like such a classic staple in my household growing up that I was like, ‘Oh my gosh! This movie is just like it!’ We would just go back and forth because we watched it so often and knew all the lines so well,” she said

Aww, how sweet is that? And in The Princess Switch, one of Vanessa’s characters, Stacy, and her best friend’s daughter Olivia, even have a secret handshake, much like the one Lindsay’s characters Annie and Hallie have.

“My director, Mike, said we needed to figure out a handshake, so I went up the little girl I was doing it with and was like, ‘Do you have any ideas?’ She’s like, ‘No.’ I was like, ‘Girl, come on. Help me out here!’ So the night before, I, of course, watched The Parent Trap. I was trying to figure out what they were doing and trying to pay homage to that somehow,” Vanessa said. Ugh, so cute. We’ll just be watching this movie on repeat now if you need us.
