Are you ready kids? There’s a new SpongeBob SquarePants movie hitting theaters next year. The trailer for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run was released on Thursday, November 14, and the movie looks hilarious. Other than appearances from the famous yellow sponge and friends, viewers will also get to see some surprising new faces — like Keanu Reeves as spiritual being, Sage the sage — once the film hits theaters in May 2020.

What exactly will this new movie be about? According to the trailer, it’s set to be SpongeBob and his friends’ biggest adventure yet. After his BFF and pet snail, Gary, goes missing, the fry cook grabs Patrick Star and they hit the road to start their quest. From the looks of it, the movie will also feature the story of when SpongeBob and Gary first met at camp and became pals. Can someone say adorable?!

As fans know, Nickelodeon announced back in June that a SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff show called Kamp Koral was in the works. This series is set to act as a prequel to the original show. It will follow 10-year-old SpongeBob as he embarks on a ton of adventures at sleepaway camp. It looks like viewers might get a sneak peek of this series once The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run hits theaters.

“In the series, SpongeBob and his pals spend the summer building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest, Kamp Koral,” Nickelodeon said in a statement.

That’s not all! This trailer came just days after Netflix signed a multiyear content production deal with Nickelodeon and announced that another new SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff series was underway. According to The New York Times, the upcoming animated series — which is set to be a musical — will be centered around SpongeBob’s grumpy octopus neighbor, Squidward Tentacles. 2020 is about to be a SpongeBob-filled year!
