Since their rise to fame back in 2016, fans have wondered whether or not the Why Don’t We boys were single. Daniel, for one, went Instagram official with Franny Arrieta in February 2021. “We’d been friends for years and always had something for each other. A year before we started dating, we kissed. Corey [LaBarrie] pulled me aside and said ‘Not her. Not now. She’s special, and you’re not ready’ … and he was right. I didn’t want to date, or believe in dating for a long time. She changed that,” the singer said of their relationship in an Instagram post. “Franny, I was in the darkest place in my life and you were the light that healed it all for me. You made me a better person.”
They announced their split in November 2021.
Similarly, Zach also showed some love for his longtime girlfriend Kay Cook on Valentine’s Day in 2021. “I wouldn’t be the person I am today without her. thanks for making me the happiest, I love you,” he captioned a social media post at the time. In her own post, the blonde beauty added, “I love you so much. Thank you for being my other half, don’t know where I’d be [without] you.”
However, it’s unclear where they stand now.
