The status of Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid‘s relationship has been unclear over the last few months. One second it appeared that they were broken up, and the next there were rumors circulating that they were back together! It’s honestly been pretty hard to keep up.
Well guys, we finally have some answers! Despite the fact that the model was recently spotted cuddling up to another man, the “Pillowtalk” crooner just proved that he and Gigi are still going strong. The former One Direction member took to Twitter on Thursday, April 4 to defend his girlfriend after some fans thought he had shaded her earlier in the week.
“To any dumb f–k out there that wants to make they’re own stories up, my tweet was not about @GigiHadid so leave her the f–k alone,” he wrote in an explosive new rant. “She is the most amazing woman I’ve ever known.”
“And [she] does nothing but love and support me when Lord knows I don’t deserve it,” he continued.
“So if you have anything to say @ me and I’ll put you the f–k straight,” the 26-year-old fired.
“If you know nothing shut your f–king mouth,” he added.
Yikes! As fans know, Gigi, 23, was photographed getting cozy to Samuel Krost (who you probably remember was linked to Selena Gomez in 2015) on Wednesday. So when the singer posted a few more cryptic messages that night, everyone quickly assumed that he was talking about her.
“How about you all go f–k yourselves with your irrelevant bulls–t,” he wrote.
“You aren’t the person you said you were,” he added. “This ain’t a place for feelings.”
But clearly, based off his new tweets, his rant had nothing to do with her after all! Gigi also denied anything was going on between her and Samuel, tweeting, “If you outlets are going to continue writing bs headlines every time I’m seen with a friend of the male gender then there’s [gonna] be a lot of unneeded confusion.”
OK, so it’s such a relief to know everything is all good between Zayn and Gigi. But there’s still one major question on everyone’s minds, and that’s — if his tweets weren’t about Gigi, then who or what was Zayn’s rant actually about? Guess we’ll have to wait and see if he tweets anything else!
