Weeks after reports surfaced that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid split, the model was spotted leaving the “Let Me” crooner‘s apartment. Wait, what?
That’s right, you guys! The 23-year-old was pictured leaving the 26-year-old pop star’s place on January 17, wearing a long coat and sunglasses and seemingly trying to keep it low-key. But being that the couple reportedly called it quits at the beginning of this month after the singer unfollowed his then-girlfriend on Instagram, the sighting inevitably raised some eyebrows.
If you need us to refresh your memory, a source told Us Weekly on January 3, “They’re done. They could get back together, but it’s over for now.” Hmm…
Another source told the outlet that the couple “tried hard to make it work,” but that the former One Direction member has “a lot of his own issues that she couldn’t help him get through.”
Now that Gigi’s been spotted leaving his place, though, we can’t help but wonder: Is Zigi back together again after only two weeks apart? TBH, we’re not so sure!
As we all know, the famous couple has been on again, off again for the last several months. Last year, the two temporarily broke up in March and then got back together in May, so it’s totally possible that they just needed another break. Unfortunately, the insider told Us that things changed drastically between the two after that.
“She cut herself off from all her friends every time they were together,” and also adding, “She focused all her time and energy on him, but it just got to be too much.”
Of course, that’s a lot for any couple to handle, so it makes sense why they would each need some time for themselves. However, most people would agree that two weeks apart probably won’t solve many of their problems, so despite the photos of her at his place, we hope they’re not jumping back in too fast. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
