We are honestly so proud of Lili Reinhart. The Riverdale actress has been pretty open about her issues with social media and the effect that Twitter trolls have had on her mental health, so now she’s decided to seek professional help.

The blonde beauty took to her Instagram Story on Saturday, February 16, where she opened up about her anxiety and depression, and told fans that she had decided to start therapy.

“Friendly reminder for anyone who needs to hear it,” she wrote. “Therapy is never something to feel ashamed of. Everyone can benefit from seeing a therapist. Doesn’t matter how old you are or how ‘proud’ you’re trying to be.”

“We are all human and we all struggle,” she continued. “Don’t suffer in silence. Don’t feel embarrassed to ask for help.”

“I’m 22. I have anxiety and depression,” she added. “And today I started therapy again.”

Wow. Seeing how open and honest she is about her issues is seriously so inspiring. As J-14 readers know, the 22-year-old actress has had a tough time with haters in the past, and even took a three month break from Twitter last year.

“There’s hate everywhere, but especially on Twitter. It’s like a cesspool for evil 15-year-olds who don’t know what the hell they’re talking about and have nothing better to do,” Lili wrote last December. “Unless you’re personally experiencing it, you could never understand how it feels to have thousands of people spewing hate at you constantly. I am not taking a break from Twitter because of one person’s opinion. As a whole that site is not good for my mental health, and it isn’t benefitting me anymore. THAT is why I’m taking a break.”

And Lili isn’t the only celebrity to seek professional help recently. It was reported last week that Justin Bieber was also getting therapy for anxiety and depression. Not to mention, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato both recently returned from rehab. And Jacob Sartorius admitted via his Instagram Story that he’s been getting therapy since he was 11 years old. Lili, you’re definitely not alone and we can’t thank you enough for sharing this with us.
