Get ready, people, because the release date for James Charles‘ new reality show, Instant Influencer, is finally here, and it turns out, it’s coming even sooner than we all thought! Yep, mark your calendars because the upcoming series will hit YouTube on April 24, 2020 — and we can’t wait!
“I am so excited to FINALLY announce my very own show, @instantinfluencer will be streaming on a @youtube screen near you for FREE starting April 24,” the makeup mogul announced on Instagram on Wednesday, April 1. “This project has been a dream come true and I cannot wait for you all to see all of the hard work that went into it… Blend, but don’t blend in.”
According to Variety, the show will feature six aspiring makeup artists as they show off their skills and compete for the grand prize of $50,000. It’s also been reported that fans can expect tons of special guests to make appearances on the series, including celebrities and industry veterans. How epic does that sound?! Not only will James act as the host of the upcoming reality show, but he also directed it and serves as executive producer, so we know it’s going to be epic.
So who will be competing, you ask? Benny Cerra, Ashley Strong, Christian Perez, Norvina, Britany Renteria, Kailin Chase and Gabriel Garcia will battle it out for the crown, and we seriously cannot wait to see what goes down.
“We’re going to take beauty content and blow it up to a place that has never been done before,” the beauty guru said in a video posted back in November. “As a kid growing up, reality competition shows were literally the only thing I watched on TV and, if I’m being honest with you guys they are still to this day my guilty pleasure. When I first started getting into makeup and social media, one of my biggest goals that I set for myself was to have my own competition show one day.”
