Did Selena Gomez just shave all her hair off?! That seems to the be the question on everyone’s minds after a picture of her rocking a buzzed cut started making its way around the internet on Tuesday, May 19, so we decided to do some investigating.
Yep, a fan posted a snap of what appeared to be the “Rare” songstress with a bald head, along with a pic of a bunch of hair on the floor, which she captioned, “@SelenaGomez shared her new look on her Instagram story.”

The tweet instantly started to go viral and fans quickly went into a frenzy over the photos, which already have more than 7,000 retweets and 61,000 likes! Everyone started to question whether or not the photos were real and if the 27-year-old really debuted the shocking new look.
Well guys, everyone can breathe a sigh of relief because no, Selena did not shave off all her hair. It turns out, the pic was totally photoshopped!
“Guys, it’s a joke Selena didn’t shave her hair,” the fan account tweeted a few hours later.
Get this — she actually took this old pic of the Wizards of Waverly Place alum and edited it to look like she was bald. LOL, she really had us fooled there for a second!
Although the former Disney actress didn’t change up her hairstyle, some celebs really have been debuting drastic new looks during the coronavirus quarantine. Just take Miley Cyrus, for example. She recently revealed that she had cut her hair super short and fans were obsessed with the new look!
