It’s time for some change in Ariana Grande‘s life. The singer just debuted a new tattoo — a few beautiful leaves on her ribcage — which she placed right on top of one of her Pete Davidson inspired designs. But don’t worry guys, the singer isn’t covering up her old tat. She’s just “evolving” it.

The “God Is A Woman” crooner shared the new ink to her Instagram account on Monday, March 18.

“Post run throughs,” she wrote, referring to her upcoming Sweetener Tour. “3 a.m. with @girlnewyork. Not a cover up just evolvin’.”

Her old tattoo could still be seen in one of the leaves. It says “Always,” and appears to be in her ex-fiancé’s handwriting. He has the same ink, and it’s believed to be a tribute to the character Severous Snape from the Harry Potter series.

As fans know, both Ari and the Saturday Night Live comedian are huge fans of the wizarding world, and it isn’t their only ink dedicated to it. The 25-year-old also has the word “Lumos” on her hand — which is a charm used for creating light in the series. She also has a lightning bolt behind her ear, which Pete has on his wrist!

During their brief relationship, it was reported that Ari actually got five tats for her beau. But ever since they called off their engagement in October 2018, the singer has been slowly replacing them. Back in December 2018, the brunette beauty revealed she had covered up her “8414” tattoo — which was the badge number of Pete’s firefighter father, who passed away on September 11, 2001. She redesigned the tattoo with the word “Myron,” her dog that initially belonged to her late ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.

In November 2018, fans also noticed that she had covered up her “Reborn” ink, which was also believed to also be inspired by Pete. The new ink was an intricate feather design.

We’re seriously loving Ari’s new leaf design!
