Ariana Grande is no stranger to getting tattoos but this time around, she got some ink with someone very special: her beloved Nonna. That’s right, Ari and Nonna got tattoos together and tbh, our hearts can’t handle it, at all.
So as we know, the 25-year-old songstress was honored with being officially crowned Billboard‘s Woman of the Year last night and after she accepted the award with a heartfelt speech and a performance of her hit “Thank U, Next,” Ari got a new tattoo, along with her grandmother. Marjorie is 93 years old and got her first tattoo so yes, the Grande women are on another level of fabulousness.
The “God Is a Woman” singer took to her Instagram story to document it all, and on her ring finger, Nonna got the word “Ciccio.”

It’s a tribute to her late husband Frank, known to Ariana’s fans as Grandpa Grande. Frank passed away in 2014, so the fact that his wife finally decided to get a tattoo as an ode to him a few years after he left us is proof true love is real. Ciccio was Grandpa Grande’s nickname, as Ariana once referenced in an adorable pic she posted on Instagram.
Naturally, fans are all feeling some type of way seeing Nonna get this permanent ode to the love of her life with her granddaughter right by her side.

And Ari got some new ink too. She added an intricate moon, sun, and star design to her hand.

All of the tattoos were done by the singer’s go-to artist, Mira Mariah and we have a feeling this one family bonding moment no one will forget! Ari’s mom Joan and her older brother Frankie were on hand too, and Nonna was such a trooper getting her first tattoo. The Grande family sticks together forever.
