If you’re anything like us over here at J-14, you’re probably obsessed with Asher Angel and Annie LeBlanc‘s adorable relationship. Well guys, prepare to fall even more in love with the couple. The Andi Mack star just dished exclusively to J-14 about the moment he asked Annie to be his girlfriend and when he realized he had feelings for her — and it’s probably the sweetest thing we’ve ever heard.
While speaking to the “One Call Away” crooner recently, we asked him what his absolute favorite memory with Annie, 14, was — and his answer had our hearts bursting.
“Probably the first time we ever really hung out. We went to Disneyland. It was just super fun,” he said. “We got to know each other, and we had a lot of fun. That was probably one of my favorite memories. We went on all the rides together — screaming and talking. That was fun.”
And it turns out, their Disneyland date was special for another reason. Why? Well, that was where he asked the “Little Do You Know” singer to be his girlfriend!
“I wanna keep it private, but it happened at Disneyland. It was a lot of fun,” he told us about the moment they made things official.
AWWW. As fans know, the lovebirds first got close on set of Asher’s “Chemistry” music video back in June 2018. And get this, you guys — the 16-year-old also told us that he “always knew” he would end up with Annie. ICYMI, the singer confirmed their romance back in May 2019, and since then, they’ve been pretty much couple goals. They’re constantly gushing over each other on social media, sharing the cutest, PDA-filled pictures and supporting each others work — and we are living for it! Seriously, find us a love like theirs.
Previously, the actor dished to J-14 about the sweetest thing he’s ever done for his girlfriend.
“I sent her a big bouquet of flowers, like a big ‘A,’ which I guess was pretty sweet,” he revealed. “‘A’ for her name and ‘A’ for Asher Angel. I can’t say everything that I do for her, but that was definitely one of my favorites. She deserves all the gifts in the world.”
It’s clear that these two are meant for one another.
