Former High School Musical star Bart Johnson — who fans will know better as Coach Bolton — just posted a video of himself recreating an iconic scene from the Disney Channel Original Movie and fans are shook! That’s right, the 49-year-old actor took to TikTok and reenacted the moment in the film when Ms. Darbus infiltrated the boys’ locker room to yell at the coach, and boy, was it epic.
Except, instead of using the original quotes from the first movie, he totally modernized the scene. To make it even better, Bart called Ms. Darbus on the phone after he watched the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series trailer.
“Hey Darbus, it’s Coach Bolton here. Is this some kind of joke? Oh you don’t know what I’m talking about? Don’t play games with me Darbus, I know you’re behind this. This is your twinkle town musical TV series,” he said in the hilarious clip. “You know what? You can’t do it. You can’t do it without my permission. You don’t have my permission, that’s what I’m saying. Forget it. There will be no TV series, there’s definitely not going to be a Coach Bolton in there. Don’t even think about it, alright.”
