Ever since Hannah Montana came to an end in 2011, fans have been longing for the Disney Channel show to make a comeback. Well guys, you might want to brace yourselves because Miley Cyrus just spilled all the tea on the possibility of the series getting a reboot, and she revealed that she is more than ready to reprise her role!

“You know what? Honestly, I try to put that wig on all the time,” she told Carolina With Greg T In The Morning in a new interview. “She’s just in storage collecting dust and I’m ready to whip her out… The opportunity will present itself. I definitely would like to resurrect her at some point.”

Wow, this is seriously the best news ever!

“She needs a big makeover because she’s kinda stuck in 2008, so we’ll need to go shopping with Miss Montana,” the actress continued. “And also yeah, I’d love to do a series again. I think it would be hard for me to get locked into a sound stage for a couple years, but that’s sometime in the future and hopefully I’m directing it.”

For those who missed it, the 27-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer’s admission comes just a few months after her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus (who also starred in the show), dropped a hint that Disney was secretly working on a Hannah Montana prequel series.

While speaking to HollywoodLife in February 2020, he explained, “They’re talking about doing a prequel, which to me, I would do that in a heartbeat, because that means I get to get my mullet back. I think there’s a whole story that led up to Miley becoming Hannah Montana.”

As fans know, the show first premiered in April 2006, and it quickly became a fan favorite. Besides Billy and Miley, it also starred Emily OsmentMitchel MussoJason EarlesMoises Arias and more. It followed a normal girl, named Miley, who was secretly living a double life as a pop star! She had to balance fame and everything that came along with it, along with school work and tests, all while keeping her secret hidden from the world. It was definitely a big part of a lot of people’s childhoods, so we really hope they bring the show back ASAP.
