When Hannah Montana came to an end more than nine years ago, it was definitely a sad time for everyone — including Miley Cyrus! Yep, the actress just opened up about how hard it was for her when the series went off the air, and she admitted that she felt like she had no self-worth after it concluded.

“When we had just ended Hannah Montana, I didn’t really know what to do with my life or my time because our schedules for eight years were so filled. Every morning same schedule, same ritual. We knew what our life was. And that’s why I think a lot of the worry and anxiety and fear is happening to so many people around the globe. Some days we don’t love to get up for work, some days are harder than others but it gives us a structure. It gives us an idea that we know what we’re going to do today,” the former Disney Channel star explained. “When you lose that routine, you fee like you don’t even know what to do with yourself.”

“For me, I didn’t know my worth because so much of my worth and value was wrapped up in a character that I got to go be five days a week,” the 27-year-old continued. “Kids would enjoy it every night at home, but [when it ended] I felt like I had less value because I wasn’t contributing to that anymore.”

For those who forgot, the series aired from March 2006 to January 2011, and it also starred Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jason Earles and more. Miley’s admission comes just days after she reunited with her former costar on her “Bright Minded” Instagram series. Yep, Emily appeared as a guest on the online show, and seeing them together again brought on all the nostalgia.

During the segment, the two ladies reminisced about their time on the Disney Channel show together, and discussed how their friendship has changed over the years.

BRB, going to watch reruns of the show on repeat now. TTYL.
