TikTok star Paige Niemann has clapped back at Ariana Grande after the singer seemingly shaded her online. For those who missed it, Paige has gone viral over the last few months for posting clips of herself impersonating the former Nickelodeon actress. But when Ariana took to her Instagram Stories and seemingly slammed Paige for the videos, she was not happy about it.

The drama all started after filmmaker Jordan Firstman posted a video of himself mocking those who do impressions of famous people online. He explained that turning a celebrity or their famous characters into a meme or a TikTok video is “degrading its entire value.” Shortly thereafter, the “Dangerous Woman” songstress caught wind of this clip and reposted it to her Stories.

“OMG can this please also double as your impression of the ponytail TikTok girls who think doing that Cat Valentine voice and that wearing winged eyeliner and a sweatshirt is doing a good impersonation of me… [because] this really how it feels… ‘Degrading its entire value.’ I screamed,” she wrote in a now-deleted post.

Although she didn’t name Paige specifically, the social media star assumed Ariana was talking about her, and she quickly fired back, “I’m used to Ariana shading me, so it’s whatever. I’m just here to entertain people. It’s not how I am in real life. It’s kind of why I’m not a fan of her anymore, honestly.”

For those who missed it, this isn’t the first time that Ari and Paige — who has racked up more than six million followers on the video sharing app for posting videos of herself acting like the pop star and recreating scenes from Victorious — got into a feud online. Back in 2019, Ariana caught wind of some of her videos and called them “bizarre.”

“I just wonder why the Cat voice/dialogue,” she replied to one of the viral clips. “I am sure she is the sweetest sweet sweetheart for real, but it’s definitely bizarre seeing people blend the two worlds.”
