Although Jimin from BTS just released his first solo single, he wants the world to know that he definitely has no plans to leave the band. The singer just proved his loyalty to the K-pop group in the best way ever — by getting a tattoo! That’s right, the 23-year-old got the name of one of their old songs permanently inked onto his body… at least we think he did.

The the giant, BTS inspired tat is the word “Nevermind,” which hardcore fans know is name of the intro song on their album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2. He first revealed it back in November, but fans originally thought it was fake. That’s because the singer was actually seen with the exact same tattoo back in 2014, but at the time it was just temporary.

So when fans first spotted it back on his body at the 2018 MGA’s, everyone just assumed that it was temporary again. But now, two months later, fans noticed that it’s still there and they’ve started to wonder — is it actually real after all?

Normally, temporary tattoos don’t last very long (usually 1-2 months), although, there are special kinds that can last up to 3-6 months, so we’re unfortunately just going to have to wait and see if it goes away. Jimin has stayed tight lipped about the ink, but that hasn’t stopped Twitter from going absolutely wild over it.

Naturally, it’s sparked a debate between the BTS Army, since some fans are sure that it’s real, while others aren’t convinced. “You can see it’s still healing,” one fan pointed out. “And ARMY spotted it MONTHS ago. Nothing lasts THAT long. Not Henna. Not make up. Not Dye. Nothing.”

Another claimed out that the tattoo looked a little different to them, which they felt was a major clue that it’s fake. “Omg Jimin’s tattoo was different today!!!” they wrote. “It means it’s not real and they’re redoing it on purpose.”

Ugh, can Jimin put our minds at ease and let us know if it’s real or not? The suspense is killing us!
