Some fans are not happy with Jai Brooks after he slammed Dove Cameron on Twitter. Yep, the former Janoskians member, who is also known for his previous relationship with Ariana Grande, just clapped back at the Descendants star, and people are really not here for it.
When the Disney actress tweeted, “You f**king matter,” Jai replied, “For some reason I saw this on my feed, please stop tweeting s**t in order to gain retweets. I thought Tumblr died about eight years ago.”
Naturally, fans of the 24-year-old quickly came to her defense. One even brought up a tweet that Jai himself posted weeks earlier, that they claimed came from Tumblr.
“Nah this one was from the heart,” the YouTuber responded.
When another Twitter user pointed out that Dove “doesn’t need to get retweets on Twitter to stay relevant,” he fired back, “Good for her.”

A third person said they were “glad they stopped stanning Jai eight years ago.”

As fans know, Jai was part of an Australian group of YouTubers, called the Janoskians, who rose to fame in 2011 due to their hilarious prank videos. The squad also consisted of his brothers Beau and Luke Brooks, and their friends Daniel Sahyounie and James Yammouni.
After gaining a lot of attention online, the group stepped into the world of music, and dropped their debut single “Set This World on Fire” in September 2012. They went on to release a bunch more songs and an EP, called Would U Love Me, which was filled with bops, TBH. The guys embarked on numerous world tours together, and get this — they even got their own TV show in Australia called The Janoskians: MTV Sessions!
But in 2018, they stopped making videos together and decided to go their separate ways. After that, Jai stepped away from the music industry. Now, he focuses much of his time on his art! That’s right, the former YouTube star sells gorgeous custom paintings now, and he even designs original tattoos for people.
