From the sound of it, Jennifer Lopez‘s daughter Emme might be Billie Eilish‘s biggest fan! Yep, while chatting with fiancé Alex Rodriguez on his podcast, The Corp, the songstress recalled the “mind-blowing” moment her 12-year-old broke down in tears over the “Bad Guy” singer.
“My daughter is in love with her,” the 51-year-old said. “We had a real moment at the Billie Eilish concert that was like, ‘Oh my god, we’re bonding right now. It’s amazing.'”
Following the show, both Jennifer and Emme got the opportunity to go backstage and meet Billie.
“I watched my daughter freak out over Billie Eilish … She walked in the room after the concert, and my daughter goes [gasp]. And I looked at her, and I’m like, ‘What’s the matter?’ and she’s, literally, the tears because she’s idolized this girl. For whatever reason, her songs and the words she says she connects to, and she loves her style. Whatever it is moves her,” she remembered.
Then, Jennifer went on to explain how this moment with her daughter made her connect with her own fans.
She said, “It made me appreciate what I do more, my fans more, what Billie did for my daughter. All of it, it was like a full circle moment. We love Billie.”
But that’s not the only songstress that the legendary artist praised. She also had nothing but amazing things to say about Ariana Grande.
“I love Ariana Grande,” Jennifer gushed. “I think she’s super talented. It’s not just her beautiful voice. It’s her spirit. It’s her comedy. It’s her ability to do different things. I love seeing that.”
Previously, Jennifer herself made one of her own fans — Charli D’Amelio — burst into tears.
“A couple years ago I decided that it was my dream to dance with J. Lo,” the TikTok star told Entertainment Tonight in February. “At first, when I first met her and I got to shake her hand, I was blank-faced. I didn’t know what to say.”
She continued, “It kind of set in and tears just started rolling down my eyes, ’cause this is all I’ve ever really, really wanted to experience and it happened.”
