Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa wants fans to know that no, she is not acting a certain way because she “signed a contract.” Taking to TikTok over the weekend, the “D.R.E.A.M.” songstress addressed her haters and set the record straight once and for all, and we’re seriously living for her response!
“So creative,” the 16-year-old captioned a video, which showed her doing various activities as some hate comments flashed across the screen.
“‘Let your hair down.’ ‘She dresses like a baby,'” some of them read. “‘She’s older than Charli [D’Amelio].’ ‘She need’s to grow up. ‘I forgot she can drive. ‘Guys, she signed a contract, so she has to act like this.'”

For those who missed it, this isn’t the only time the singer clapped back at nasty internet trolls on the video sharing app! Back in April, she slammed people who told her to “act her age” when she shared a video of herself lip-syncing to the song “Boss B***h” by Doja Cat.
“I ain’t tryna be cool like you,” she mouthed, as the words “When ‘normal’ teenagers say to me, ‘Act your age,’” popped up.

That’s not all. JoJo also used the app to shut down rumors that she was switching up her look permanently, after fans noticed that she had ditched her signature look and showed off her all-natural curls in a few videos.
“Recently I’ve shown myself looking different. Not the classic rainbow, sparkles and side ponytail with a JoJo bow,” the blonde beauty wrote alongside a video of her dancing in black leggings and a hoodie. “I’ve been hated on for YEARS for dressing ‘young’ and ‘childish’ — people think this is me ‘changing.’ LOL nope! I just love who I am! This is just me at night or in the morning!”
