The holiday season is coming early this year, thanks to the Jonas Brothers! On Monday, November 4, everyone’s favorite boyband took to social media and brought joy to the world with the announcement of their upcoming Christmas song.
From the looks of it, Happiness Begins won’t be the end of new music from the boys just yet. “Like It’s Christmas” is set to drop on Friday, November 8. According to their Instagram post, the trio waited until Christmas Queen, Mariah Carey, gave the official holiday season green light before they released the big news.
“Mariah Carey has given the world the green light, so the holiday season has begun!!!” the band wrote. “Our brand new original Christmas song #LikeItsChristmas is out on Friday people.”
It’s hard not to be excited for the sure-to-be festive tune when the album artwork features the brothers’ looking cuter-than-ever while wearing Santa hats.
As fans know, 2019 has been life-changing for the Jonas Brothers. Earlier this year, the band finally came back together after taking a six year break because of a fight within the group. Since their initial reunion back in February, the boys have thrown themselves into their career.
Not only did they release an amazing album, but they hit the road and kicked off the Happiness Begins Tour which started back in August and is set to conclude in February 2020. That’s not all! The brothers’ even found the time to write their family’s story and turn it into a book, titled Blood. From the looks of it, the Jonas’ have crushed any past beef between them and are doing what they do best: making music.
“It’s been incredible, being back together after the longest time apart and spending this amount of time together in the studio, not to mention actually announcing this stuff and the response to the music,” Kevin told Paper Magazine in May. “It’s been so overwhelming and so exciting. It means so much to us to be able to do this again as brothers. It’s just beyond.”
