On Friday, December 6, Justin Bieber added a new tattoo to his already extensive collection. The 25-year-old took to Instagram and shared the new ink — a large bird with the word “forever” written in script underneath — on the left side of his neck.
Some fans immediately commented on the post and called out the “What Do You Mean” singer for seemingly copying Shawn Mendes‘ iconic sparrow hand tattoo.
“Lol kinda looks like [Shawn Mendes’] tattoo…,” another fan said.
That’s not all! Others claimed the word “forever” is a match to his wife Hailey Baldwin‘s “lover” tattoo, which is located in the same place on her neck and written in a similar font. The 23-year-old model got inked just before the pair’s South Carolina wedding ceremony back in September 2019. Aside from “lover” she also honored her maiden name and presumably her new last name with a small “B” on the back of her right hand. Both Hailey and her husband’s tattoos were done by famed artist, Dr. Woo.
“Anything to do with Hailey’s lover tat?” one Instagram user commented.
This is hardly the couple’s first set of matching tattoos. Back in November 2018, Justin got “grace” inked just above his left eye while Hailey was rumored to get “style” in an undisclosed location as reported by the pair’s tattoo artist, Bang Bang. which has yet to be seen, but was hinted at when The model also got a small diamond tattooed right under her left ear in February 2019, which is seemingly a tribute to her husband’s diamond tattoo located on his wrist.
As fans know, Justin isn’t the only celebrity that’s been accused of copying tattoos lately. Fans recently called out the “Sorry” singer’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez after she debuted a praying hands tattoo on her leg that looked similar to the pair of praying hands Justin has inked right above his left ankle.
