It’s been more than 11 years since the Cheetah Girls broke up, but it sounds like there’s still some major beef between Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon. Yep, during a recent Instagram Live with Raven-Symoné, Kiely opened up about her longtime feud with the singer and explained why she has no interest in reconciling.
When Raven urged the actress to reach out to her former costar, Kiely was definitely not a fan of the idea.
“Why do I have to talk Adrienne? No. She didn’t come to my dad’s funeral or call me when he died. No, I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be messy but I’m being for real with you,” the 33-year-old fired back. “You can say what you want about me, but you can never say that I didn’t f**king ride for Adrienne. You can’t say that. I didn’t do anything.”
But Raven explained why she thought it was time for the ladies to squash their beef once and for all.
“You didn’t do anything, and that’s a horrible thing if she did not show up to your dad’s funeral with such a history, but stuff happens. My best friend didn’t invite me to her wedding and she met her husband through me! But I still talk to her because the history that we have is so thick,” the That’s So Raven star said. “She knows a part of you that no one else knows. Your prideful a**es need to calm down, take a pill for a second and say, ‘I’m pissed you, but let’s talk about it.'”
Previously, when a fan asked Kiely if she would ever go on Adrienne’s talk show, The Real, she admitted, “I don’t think Adrienne wants to have live TV with me. She’s going to have to say, ‘Yes, Kiely, I did pretend to be your best friend, and now I’m not.’ It’s like, you were either lying then or you’re lying now. You either were my best friend and now you’re not claiming me, or you were pretending to be my best friend and now you’re telling the truth. So that’s why I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
We guess only time will tell if these two are ready to make up!
