Get ready, you guys, because next December we’re getting a brand new Christmas flick starring Kiernan Shipka and Isabela Moner.

As we all know, Netflix totally crushed it last year with movies like The Kissing Booth and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, and so far, the popular streaming service is showing no signs of slowing down. How do we know? Well, according to reports, they’ll be releasing a brand new Christmas movie for the 2019 holiday season called Let It Snow, and we seriously couldn’t be more excited!

But wait, there’s more. The movie will actually be based on a YA novel of the same name, which was written by John Green, the bestselling author of some of our all-time favorite books-turned-movies, including The Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns.

We’re going to keep it real with you… details about the movie are very slim at the moment, but that won’t stop us from sharing what we know so far. Like the novel, the movie will follow a bunch of high school seniors as they navigate things that teens have to deal with at some point, including friendships, love, and of course, the uncertainty of their futures. The twist, however, is that the film will be set during an enormous snowstorm on Christmas Eve, making it an ideal watch for the holiday season.

As you’ve probably already guessed, the cast of the upcoming Christmas flick is stacked. In addition to 19-year-old Kiernan, known for her role on Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and 17-year-old Isabella, known for her role on Nickelodeon’s 100 Things to Do Before High School, the movie will include Dumplin’ actress Odeya Rush and Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse‘s Shameik Moore.

Clearly, it’ll be a while before this movie hits Netflix, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t super stoked for it. Plus, it’s never too early to start preparing for Christmas — even if it was just last month.
