Just a few weeks ago, J-14 noticed that McKenna Grace and Kiernan Shipka look freakishly alike! The two girls could totally pass as sisters, and it’s like the 12-year-old actress was almost destined to play a younger version of Kiernan’s character, Sabrina Spellman, on The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. Well, guess what guys? We’ve just gotten confirmation that McKenna will in fact play Sabrina as a kid in the upcoming Christmas special!

During the holiday episode (which will air Dec. 14 on Netflix), we’ll get to see what our favorite witch was like as a pre-teen. According to Deadline, while the Church of Night celebrates the Winter Solstice, Li’l Sabrina goes out of her way to ask Santa for something special.

In an official press release from Netflix, they explained that the Winter Solstice is “the longest night of the year, and that families gather together around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols, tell ghost stories and huddle against the supernatural creatures that come out to cause mischief. Since the Winter Solstice is when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest, it’s the perfect time to conduct a séance — which Sabrina convenes, to try and contact her mother. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — and you never know what might come down the chimney.”

Wow it sounds pretty intense. We’re all super excited for the episode, especially since we don’t know how long we’re going to have to wait to get the second season of the Netflix original show. The cast are busy filming it, but there’s unfortunately no release date for it yet.

We’re also wondering if McKenna will make an appearance in the second season as well or if this is just a one time thing! Well, either way, we’re super excited for McKenna to be in the show and we can’t wait to see what Sabrina was like when she was younger.
