Did you know that the 30th anniversary of Disney’s The Little Mermaid is coming up? Well, it is. Don’t worry, though! There are some pretty amazing things planned, and even Lea Michele is involved!

After making its debut in 2016, The Little Mermaid Live in Concert will return to the Hollywood Bowl on May 17 and May 18, specifically for the anniversary. And as if that’s not exciting enough, the Glee actress is set to star in the concert, so this couldn’t get more exciting even if we wanted it to.

Lea, who’s set for the role of Ariel, will be joined by Harvey Fierstein as Ursula and Cheech Marin as Chef Louis. Before you get too concerned, though, the concert will include all of your other favorite characters from the animated flick, including King Triton (played by Peter Gallagher),  Prince Eric (played by Leo Gallo) and Sebastian (played by Ken Page).

Clearly, there’s a lot to look forward to, and we’re not the only ones who are stoked for the 30th anniversary shows. In fact, the former Scream Queens star can’t wait to hit the stage at the Hollywood Bowl — especially since she gets to sing songs from one of the most iconic Disney movies ever.

She told Billboard that she’s “honored to be able to perform these timeless songs at the Hollywood Bowl,” and TBH, she should be. Ariel is one of the best Disney princesses in the mix, and to be able to sing her parts at a special honoring the movie’s 30-year anniversary is pretty special. Plus, fans are going to absolutely freak out once they hear about all the awesome things planned.

Yep! According to Billboard, the evening will include “a full program of aquatically-themed previews of coming attractions, nostalgic animated snack bar commercials and the 1938 Silly Symphony cartoon ‘Merbabies’ featuring the world premiere of a live original score composed and performed by 17-year-old piano sensation Emily Bear.” We love a healthy dose of nostalgia!

But wait, there’s more. There will also be a mermaid-themed costume contest, so these anniversary concerts are starting to sound like one big party you won’t want to miss.

If you’re as obsessed with The Little Mermaid as we are, you can purchase tickets for the concerts on April 5 at 10 P.M. PST. See you there!
