It looks like Liam Hemsworth has not only moved on, but he’s also moved in! The 29-year-old has officially obtained permits to make major renovations and rebuild the house he shared, since 2014, with ex-wife Miley Cyrus before being forced to move out after it was destroyed by the tragic California wildfires of November 2018.
According to reports, the actor shared plans to renovate this home while house-hunting for an Australian abode so he can live closer to his family down under. But as it turns out, this sure-to-be epic Malibu mansion is located right next door to the ranch house the pair purchased in 2016, where the Hannah Montana star currently lives with new beau, Cody Simpson. Can somebody say awkward?!
For those who missed it, the internet went crazy on October 3 when photos of Miley and the Australian singer kissing during a lunch date in Los Angeles went public. Since then, the duo has continued to make headlines with their steamy relationship. Things heated up on October 16, 2019, when Cody shared a photo of himself to his Instagram Stories, and captioned it, “Move in day,” signaling to fans and followers that they took their relationship to the next level by moving in together.
This all comes after the “Slide Away” singer officially went her separate ways from ex-husband, Liam, in August when he filed for divorce after the pair married in December 2018. Since then, she has been making headlines by posting new relationships all over social media. After the split, the Hunger Games star kept a low profile until October 10, when he was spotted holding hands with Dynasty star, Maddison Brown, which sparked rumors that things were heating up between the two Australian actors.
We’re hoping the closeness in proximity during renovations can prove that, despite not being together, #Miam will be on good terms once again. But only time will tell!
