Sorry guys, don’t expect to get any more details on the upcoming One Direction reunion. Yep, Liam Payne just revealed that Louis Tomlinson has threatened him into keeping quiet! According to the “Strip That Down” crooner, if he shares anything else about their comeback, his former bandmate is going to “egg his house!” LOL.
While speaking to Sunrise in Australia about their plans to get back together, the 26-year-old explained, “I can’t tell you any plans at the moment because Louis will actually kill me. I kind of let the cat out of the bag about the anniversary, so I can’t say too much — he actually told me off on text message. He said if I do it again he’s gonna egg my house.”
But then, the singer realized that Louis most likely wouldn’t be able to do that due to the current coronavirus pandemic.
“That would be hard right now ’cause he can’t leave [his house],” he joked. “I may as well do what I want.”
Come on, Liam, spill the beans!

“The lines of communication are back open again. This pause with coronavirus going on and the fact we’ve got this massive anniversary coming up together,” he continued. “We’ve been through a lot together in a short space of time and only us four/five people understand that moment, so it’s nice to be speaking to everybody again for sure.”
Unfortunately, that’s all he said on the matter. For those who missed it, Liam first confirmed that the group was planning something special for their upcoming 10th anniversary earlier this month.
“We’ve got a 10 year anniversary coming up so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” he told The Sun. “At the moment I’m not sure what I’m allowed to say. There’s a number of different things that we are all working on to try and make happen and people are forwarding emails around. But more than anything it’s just been a real good time for us to connect together again.”
The 26-year-old pop star spoke out about it once again while appearing on The Late, Late Show With James Corden.
“I”m not allowed to say too much obviously because I would be giving it away,” he said. “We’ve been speaking a lot more at the moment, I think we are all feeling that that ten year… It’s a very special moment.”
He also explained during another Instagram Live, “Most of us are in London. We’ve been trying to arrange the first group FaceTime at the moment. I can’t say too much it was actually Louis told me off for revealing a bit about our plans the other day. So I had a group telling off on the group chat.”
Man, the things we would give to be a part of the 1D group chat! The musician also seemingly revealed that Zayn would not be a part of the reunion when he asked singer Alesso to take his place. “You can come and fill in for Zayn. Join the band,” he said.
