Like you, we were absolutely shook when Noah Cyrus‘ ex-boyfriend Lil Xan revealed that his current girlfriend is pregnant with his child on February 17. In fact, some people on social media went as far as to say that the pregnancy is fake. Now, however, Annie Smith, the SoundCloud rapper’s GF, wants people to know that she really is expecting a baby.

That’s right, fam! After announcing the pregnancy, Lil Xan’s fiancée got slammed by people who claimed she photoshopped the ultrasound. In a recent interview with E! News, though, Annie denied the rumors and said that images she posted were 100% real.

“I’m honestly really disappointed that we announced it and now this is the rumor floating around,” she told the outlet.

So how exactly did this rumor even start in the first place? Well, according to Annie, a girl photoshopped the ultrasound to make it seem like the images belonged to someone else. How rude!

“When i posted my YouTube video with my ultrasound pictures, a girl (i’m not going to comment on who) photoshopped them with another persons name, year, birthday etc, and uploaded them to Google.” Yikes!

Now, the expectant mother is saying the “negativity is too much,” and we can totally understand why. After all, it’s not easy hearing opinions from thousands of strangers about something that has nothing to do with them. Besides, the rapper seems super excited for this next chapter — even if people are being unsupportive of the fact that he’s going to be a dad.

In the initial Instagram announcement, the 22-year-old wrote, “I wanted to wait but i just can’t leave my fans in the dark. It’s official im going to be a father. I love you guys so much and I hope you stay along for this crazy journey and i’ve never felt more happy in my life. All of you are invited to the gender reveal party i promise!”

The rapper also added a sweet message to his girlfriend, writing, “To my baby my angel my sunshine @anniiesmith i love you with all my heart. thank you for saving me i love you more then words could describe.”

Well, you guys, it seems like the rumors are false. Lil Xan really is going to be a dad.
