Despite it becoming easier to tell Cole and Dylan Sprouse apart as they’ve gotten older, some photos of the twins when they were younger still trip people up — even Cole’s girlfriend Lili Reinhart. While celebrating the holiday season former Suite Life of Zack and Cody star, Dylan, took to Instagram and posted a throwback photo of him and his brother dressed as an elf and gingerbread man.
“No amount of eggnog can make me forget this image,” the 27-year-old captioned the since-deleted photo, which also included Brenda Song and Ashley Tisdale. To which the Riverdale actress hilariously responded, “Thank god you tagged Cole, I would never have known it was him under that sexy-a** onesie.”
Neither Dylan nor Cole responded to Lili before the post was taken down, but fans were quick to write back to the 23-year-old. Some were unsure if Lili was joking or not, while others said they were laughing at her witty comment.
Fans have taken this comment to mean that Cole and Lili’s relationship is still going strong. For those who missed it, rumors started swirling that these two Riverdale stars were more than just friends in July 2017. In April 2018, their relationship was seemingly confirmed when they were photographed kissing in Paris. Since then, Cole and Lili were the perfect pair breakup rumors hit the web in July 2019. They were quickly squashed after just a few days when a new magazine cover featuring the two stars hit stands and Lili addressed the rumors once and for all.
“Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, kids. And news sources should try a little harder to be less vile. ‘Reliable sources’ can kiss my a**,” she wrote on Twitter.
In November 2019, the blonde beauty showed off her adorable relationship with some adorable photos of them kissing! She also supported her man when he won an award at the 2019 People’s Choice Awards.
“Congrats to my people’s choice best baby,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
