Fans are about to get an inside look at Lili Reinhart‘s life. The Riverdale actress just announced that she’s releasing a book full of poems, called Swimming Lessons. The poems will tackle everything in her life, including “young love, battling anxiety and depression in the face of fame and the inevitable heartbreak that stems from passion.”

“One year ago, I decided I wanted to share my poetry with the world. It’s scary to reveal a part of myself that I don’t often show, but I like to consider this book as more of a story rather than a confession of thought,” Lili shared on Instagram. “Strangers, songs, films, fictional characters, love in various forms and of course my own experiences were my inspiration throughout the creation of Swimming Lessons. This book means a lot to me and I’m very grateful to be in the position to finally share it.”

The book will even contain a poem about her former Riverdale costar Luke Perry. As fans know, the actor tragically passed away back in March, after suffering from a massive stroke. His fans, friends and costars were all heartbroken over his sad passing.

It’s no secret that the 23-year-old blonde beauty likes to write poetry. Back in August, she shared a poem she had written for her boyfriend, Cole Sprouse, on his birthday.

“I tried to find a poem that I could send to you. Because my words were failing me. But I searched and found nothing that did you justice. All of these love poems can’t get it right. No one else’s words could ever fit. They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you,” she wrote on Instagram.

How sweet is that?! Mark your calendars because the book will hit stands on May 5, 2020. You can pre-order it here.
