The Riverdale cast is remembering Luke Perry one year after he tragically passed away. As fans know, on March 4, 2019, news broke that the 52-year-old sadly died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, California after having suffered a “massive” stroke less than a week prior. Now, one year later, the late actor’s former castmates took to social media and shared heartfelt tributes for the legendary actor.

Camila Mendes took to her Instagram Stories and posted a throwback photo of the Riverdale cast that included Luke.

“Thinking of you today,” she captioned the pic.

Hollywood legend Molly Ringwald, who played Luke’s wife on the CW show, posted an old black-and-white image of him wearing a suit on her Instagram.

“I can’t believe it’s been a year since we lost this beautiful soul. Your presence is felt and you are missed every day, my friend,” Molly captioned it.

Fans will remember, that a few months after he passed, Luke’s on-screen wife talked with Us Weekly about his death. At the time, she revealed that KJ Apa — who played his son in the CW series — took his tragic death the hardest.

“KJ and Luke were very close and had such a unique bond. Luke was really like his father — his American father. He really assumed that role, so watching KJ grapple with that was really tough to watch. As a mother, as just a person, it was hard to watch,” she said at the time.

Lili Reinhart also remembered her former costar with a sweet message on Twitter.

“It genuinely still feels very surreal. We miss him so much,” she wrote. “Hard to say anything else that expresses the magnitude of his not being here.”

The blonde beauty’s heartfelt tribute came just weeks after she told fans that Luke’s “spirit” had visited her in a dream.

“I had a dream last night that I saw Luke… and I hugged him so hard and cried into his shoulder telling him how much we all miss him,” she shared on Instagram Stories on February 19, 2020. “Looking back on it this morning, I think his spirit was visiting me in my sleep, letting me know he’s smiling brightly on the other side.”
