Who run the world? Girls… and YouTuber Lilly Singh is proof!

The comedian’s upcoming show, “A Little Late with Lilly Singh” will kick off on NBC in September, and this will make her the only female to currently host a late night talk show on one of the Big 4 networks. So yeah, she’s seriously #goals. Lilly appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday to make the announcement.

“An Indian-Canadian woman with her own late night show? Now that is a dream come true,” she gushed on the talk show. “I’m thrilled to bring it to life on NBC, and I hope my parents consider this to be as exciting as a grandchild.”

The NBC Entertainment executive vice president of special programs and late night made a statement to welcome Lilly into the NBC late night family.

“Lilly is truly a star and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our NBC family,” Doug Vaughan said. “She is a multi-talented performer who will surely have a great rapport with not only all her guests but also with our devoted late-night audience. We can’t wait to get started.”

From in-studio interviews to comedy sketches, the show is sure to be absolute fire! The megastar will serve as the executive producer, while Polly Auritt, who heads Lilly’s Unicorn Island Productions, will be the co-executive producer. Her show will be taking the 1:35 a.m. talk show time slot, in place of Last Call with Carson Daly, which is ending after a 17-year run.

Recently, the 30-year-old publicly came out as bisexual. On February 24, Lilly took to social media to open up to her fans. After listing the words “female,” “colored” and “bisexual,” the comedian wrote, “Throughout my life these have proven to be obstacles from time to time. But now I’m fully embracing them as my superpowers.”

“No matter how many ‘boxes’ you check, I encourage you to do the same,” she added.

We can’t wait to watch Lilly slay the late night talk show game!
