Just one month after the Jonas Brothers made all our dreams come true by reuniting and releasing two new songs together, do we have to worry about our favorite band splitting up again? It was just announced that Nick Jonas is releasing a new solo song, but there’s actually no need to worry.

It turns out, the 26-year-old’s new tune is actually for an upcoming animated movie that he’s starring in: UglyDolls! The song is called “The Ugly Truth,” and you might want to prepare yourselves because it’ll be out April 26.

In case you missed it, the new film also stars Kelly Clarkson, Janelle Monáe, Blake Shelton, Pitbull, Emma Roberts, Bebe Rexha, Charli XCX and more! It follows a group of Ugly Dolls, who discover a town where everything is perfect. The “Jealous” crooner voices Lou, the mean and tough leader of the town. It’s his job to train and recruit people for the perfect town, and if they fall short of his standards, he’s not happy.

“It’s exciting to bring something joyful into the world with a positive message of hope and acceptance,” Nick told USA Today about the new flick.

The singer also explained that he hopes that one day, when he has kids with his wife Priyanka Chopra, they’ll watch the movie!

“I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we think about the future. And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future,” he shared. “That’s everything from the music to projects that we align ourselves with and, maybe some of the projects that are more adult-themed we’ll hold those back ’til they get older obviously. But with something like [UglyDolls], it’s just a joy to be able to do this for the kids in general.”

Awww, how cute? Mark your calendars, you guys, because the movie hits theaters on May 3, 2019, and we can’t wait.
